1. Register

Confirm your voting eligibility by verifying that you are a resident, property owner, or qualifying business representative within the Uptown planning area. Contact us for guidance on your eligibility.

2. Research

Learn about candidates and their positions. Review the current board structure, community plan, and neighborhood planning priorities so you can make an informed decision about who should represent your area.

3. Vote

Cast your vote for the candidate(s) representing your neighborhood. Elections are held at the regular monthly meeting. Bring proof of residency or ownership. Results are announced the same evening.

4. Verify Your Neighborhood

Confirm which neighborhood you belong to within the Uptown planning area. Board seats are divided by neighborhood and by resident type (owner vs. renter). Your address determines which seats you may vote for.

Board members are volunteers elected by their neighbors. Service on UpCPG is one of the most direct ways to influence how your neighborhood grows and changes. Terms last two years with staggered elections to ensure continuity.
